Your tan will last 7-10 days depending upon your skin type and how well you follow the before and after tips.
Two major key results in the airbrush tan is proper exfoliation before and to use an alcohol-free moisturizer twice a day afterwards.
Before
- Waxing, pedicures and facials should be done at least one day prior to tanning session.
- Bathe, shave and exfoliate with wash cloth and an exfoliant scrub. This will remove the dead skin cells so the tan will last longer.
- No lotions, perfumes and minimal make up and deodorant. These act as barriers and affect the depth of the tan.
- Bring loose fitting, dark clothing to avoid any wear off and flip flops to wear afterwards.
After
- Shower in 4-6 hours using an alcohol-free shower gel. The longer you can wait to shower the better for your tan.
- Moisturize twice a day with alcohol free lotion. Hydrating your skin makes your tan last longer. .
- Avoid exfoliating skin and a hair removal and bleach products on your skin.
- Avoid long hot showers/baths and pat dry with towel after shower.
- Apply sunscreen when UV tanning because your skin is not protected.
